One on one Functional Assessment and Yoga Session

Experience a one on one yoga session for your unique health concern; learn how to transcend limitations,  find ease, and new found space in your body/mind.

I will begin with a 15 min functional and postural assessment, to map out your body and lay the foundation for our yoga session. You will receive a  guided session unique to your lifestyle, history of injuries, conditions etc. Feel strong, connected and taken care of while I cue you on how to move your body safely and beneficially as we address postures that focus on improving you.With training in alignment based, safe and functional yoga, I will guide you through a  1.5 hour yoga  session tailored for  you, meeting you where you are at on your health journey.  We will improve on your limitations, in body and mind, and achieve new found space.

Yoga and Massage Duo

Receive a 1 hour private yoga session with me, aimed to liven your personal practice and attain safe functional and effective movement in your body. After a short guided meditation and relaxation you will then receive a 1 hour massage designed for you. We will work to release limitations that we have discovered during the yoga session so that you can find new depths and expand your practice. During the body work we will release blockages and create new found space in the body. Experience an increase in joint mobility, strength and tissue flexibility. End feeling centered, calm yet powerful as you are more in touch with your physical self.

Free Yoga in the Park

As often as possible we like to give free yoga lessons in local parks within the Sooke, Metchosin, Langord and Colwood areas.  Take a look at the calendar below for upcoming sessions.

During one on one yoga together, I offer you a unique combination of hatha flow, power, yin and restorative yoga to promote balance in your body. In every initial session, you are first taken through a postural assessment and functional inquiry to lay the foundation for an incredibly effective and beneficial session tailored for you.

Taking into consideration your unique set of circumstances (pain, conditions, and lifestyle) you are safety guided into postures with breath work that encourages relief from pains or limitations that may otherwise not be addressed in group classes.

 Quality yoga addresses muscular imbalances, releasing what is tense or limited and strengthening what is weak or inactive. In each session the entire muscular system is considered as we draw specific focus to yoga postures with a set goal in sight, that goal is to release your limitations and encourage functional balance that follows you into everyday life.
